Local state-of-the-art mold manufacturer is looking for a Logistics/Purchasing Clerk.
Logistics Pay rate:
$20.00/hr
Logistics Schedule:
9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
Logistics Responsibilities:
- The purchasing clerk is responsible for negotiating vendor terms. Prices and schedule deliveries using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements.
- Responsible for packaging, shipments, and distributing products both incoming and departing the facility.
- Attention to detail.
- Adhere to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
- Load and unload trucks sometimes using a forklift.
- Package all outgoing shipments including mold components.
- Must be able to work in a schedule-driven environment meeting deadlines.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
- 2 years of experience of purchasing-related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Uses knowledge of bills of materials, machines, and equipment.
- Heavy lifting involved.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
